Final test:
3 full figures(in swim suit) in color pencil, and pastel (optional), 20-22 minutes each. (light marker under-drawing first).
3 dressed figures in color pencil, pastel or water color. 25 minutes each. Under drawing on a separate page.
Optional: multiple color pencils or watercolor.
Students: Please review all previous weeks, since mid-term.
Rendering a cover-p with water color:
1) Under-drawing with a dark marker marker on a separate page. Understanding the pose and "seeing" the body beneath.
2) Draw silhouette of clothes with Prisma pencil (first with a soft line), paying attention to proportions.
3) Draw shadows and folds with a grey or beige marker or water color in appropriate color.
Face, hands and shoes focus on simple silhouette only (for now).
4) Block in color (of garment and shoes) with gouache/water color. Add detail of print, and finish later. Add simple shadows in face and block color in hair.
5) Add highlight of skin and garment with pastel and blend
6) Refine and finish face and hands.
7) Add contrast and accent lines with Prisma.
25 minutes each.

2) Refine, render and add detail of clothes with prisma pencil. First with a soft line quality, once happy, add accents and contrasts. Integrate shadows and folds as you go. Face, hands and shoes focus on simple silhouette.
