We are looking at this shoe as an object and as a shape: We're drawing it from different angles/view points, in different media, on different paper.
On a sheet of tracing paper we're trying to render the leather, including shadows and shine.
We are looking at this shoe as an object and as a shape: We're drawing it from different angles/view points, in different media, on different paper.
We're trying out different sketching methods, drawing with Prisma Pensil, Verythin pencil, and marker under drawing.
In this exercise we are approaching the front view in an shape only way, to catch the illusion of for shortening and perspective (1 point).
Drawing your own hand (s):
Left hand with your right, and right hand with your left:
Contour style (one continuous line, or 1 line only). Use a Prisma pencil for line quality variety.
This exercise, when done regularly, doesn't only teach you how to draw hands well, as a matter of fact, it teaches you to draw ANYTHING well! You'll learn to see, pay attention to negative space, compare all lines in your hands, for-shortening and more.
