- VisComm1/19: Students work:
Project 3: Constructing existing object (not drawing from it) choosing your own viewpoint in 2 point perspective:
Scooter: Object present, but not lit. Students choose angle of object and draw in 2 point perspective. Imagine/ decide on lighting and shadows (work with perspective of light). You can create your own grid, draw through method and/or underdrawing on a separate page or construct with Verythin)
Paper size 14x17 (or larger if preferred) to add horizon and Vanishing points on paper.
Media: either Prisma Pencil or Marker. 1 - 4 tone value shading.
(faster students 2 angles other media)
1h
Project 2: Drawing from existing object (spot light lit):
Same criteria as project 1, draw Nerf gun: Use the other media (if you used Prisma before use marker now, and vice/versa). Free choice of paper size. 1 - 4 tone value shading.
45 minutes
Project 4: Constructing existing object (not drawing from it) choosing your own viewpoint in 2 point perspective:(optional 3PP)
Same criteria as project 3, draw Art bin: Use the other media (if you used Prisma before use marker now, and vice/versa)
