1 point perspective:
The typical 1 PP applies to flat surfaces: Train tracks, streets, fields etc.

On first sight this looks like a 1 PP, until you notice the slightly converging lines toward the top.

Line execises: Soft/strong, thin/thick, strait point and side of Prisma etc.
Starting practicing free hand ellipses:
This was a quick demo of a heel, sketched with a Prisma, then shaded with a drop of turpentine on cotton square.
This was a quick demo of drawing a front view of a shoe (sneaker), to catch the for-shortening bright, one can focus JUST on the outline/shape of shoe (ex. on right).
One has to be more careful when one constructs or sketches the shoe from the front, to make sure one MEASURES the for-shortening.
