- SPRING SEMESTER: Week 1 and 2: Basics of the female figure in swimsuit:
- Week 2: Different fabric textures, different media. (Former yaers): Striped cover ups. Shading and shapes.
- Weeks 3 and 4: Continuing stripes. line quality/contour, leg studies, hands and shoes.
- Week 4 and 5: Dresses, rendering folds and drape. Rendering swim suit with sparkles
- Weeks 4, 5 and 6: Day dresses. Stripes and folds.
- Week 7 or 8 : Midterm test:
- Week 8: Opposite proportions, whide jackets and skinny jeans, textures ex. herringbone, houndstooth etc.
- Week 9: Garment textures. Better sports wear, seeing the body beneath the clothes.
- Week 10: More textures, jeans and knit. Better sports wear. Seeing the body beneath. Tracing paper method.
- Week 11: Drawing the jacket in different medias. Formerly the Grunche project. Working on tracing paper, seeing the body beneath
- Week 12/13: Preparing for final test. Week 14: Final test.

There is no need to use Prisma, if the face looks good that way!
Final test:
3 figures in swim suit, 20 minutes each. Free choice of media.
after:
3 figures in fall sportswear, 25 minutes each, add 5 minutes without the model posing.
Free choice of media, watercolor needs to be included.
Drawing the edited fashion face:
You can use either marker or water color.Only draw in the shapes of the facial features. Edited!

Different textures in water color: Fur, sequin. The edited face.
Under drawing on a separate page: (see steps on next images)
1. Silhouette of garments first with Prisma.
2. Block out color of fur with marker and add shine with pastel and shadows with a darker marker. Texture the textured area (hair).
3. Draw shadows and folds of skirt with marker or water color.
4. Add sequin dots with white gouache. Highlights in lighter areas.
5. Render face and hair very minimal, edit.
6. Render shoes with Prisma, start with silhouette.
7. Add and refine and contrast Prisma lines.

The other method:
1. Under drawing on separate page.
2. Prisma silhouette drawing.
3. Block color in flat with watercolor.
4. Refine Prisma and add contrast.
5. Add highlights and folds with watercolor at the end.

Pastel and Prisma only.

Drawing the figure and render face, hair, hands and shoes in an very edited simlified way.
Start the face with skin tone marker shapes.
Hands and shoes can be just a silhouette only (if time is tight).
