Midterm project: Time - travel: Start as Homework: Part/phase 1 due week 5:
Pick a country and a period: Research the country and the period and find an inspiration image (es).
Each student must pick one object type of each category: (you will have 1 object type from each category - a total of 4 objects)
1) S+H: Furniture: A. Chair, B. Sofa, C. Lighting/lamp, D. Coffee table
2) S: Garment/clothing: A. Shoe, B. Coat/jacket, C. Bag/backpack, D. Hat
3) H: Transportation: A. Scooter, B. Car, C. Skate bord, D. Bike
4) S + H: Free choice of: A. Perfume bottle, B. Jewelry C. Electronic device
Draw 10 ideation sketches for next week (10 each object) 2/14: (Total 40 sketches, each 2” - 3” in size, 3 - 5 min each). Be able to present (week 5) and explain style/period/country.
Use VERYTHIN and/or LIGHT GREY MARKER and punch up the lines with a THIN BLACK MARKER or PRISMA PREMIER.
- Put a CIRCLE around 3 ideations you like from each group. Put a number next to your choice (1, 2, or 3).

Add phase 3 (in this case the final drawing): Redraw and add additional information/VP (view-point) on a new sketch of your design: 8x11 paper - use your full page - don’t draw too tiny!
Do some rendering/texture try out(s) like shown in last weeks class: Then shade, render, color, texture (if needed) your new drawing/Illustration:
